After a recent round of updates to our conversion tools to support more file formats, we have today made these updates available to use. You will find support for additional compressed file formats such as RAR, 7Z and TAR. Along with these, we have also recently added support for the eBook format, EPUB, allowing you to convert your favourite eBooks to a PDF document.
The new compressed archive formats can be converted to other archive formats, such as ZIP. If your archive contains a 3D model file, then this can be converted directly to other 3D model formats without needing to extract the file first.
With ePub files, there is the option to convert to either PDF or HTML. The conversion tool will attempt to match the original layout and font used, and it will also attempt to maintain any images present in the source eBook file.
Along with the additional supported files mentioned above, we have also been busy improving our existing conversion tools. The SVG converter has been improved to better handle edge pixels; previously, these may have been cut off. There have also been performance improvements with the STEP converter, meaning you will get your converted files faster.
