Use our free-to-use and fast DAE to MP4 file converter to expertly convert your DAE files perfectly into the MP4 file format, ready for further editing or use in your favourite MP4 file editing application. Our tool can also batch convert your DAE files, enabling you to convert up to 20 files in one go.
Or drag and drop your files here to upload.
A maximum of 20 files can be uploaded at once.
Use the button above to select the DAE files you wish to upload; once selected, you can click the Upload button to start the conversion. Once all your files have been converted, you will be able to download your MP4 files either individually or all together in a compressed ZIP file.
Here are two simple steps to convert your DAE to MP4 using our fast and free DAE converter tool.
First, click the "Upload..." button and select your DAE file to upload. Your DAE file will be uploaded to our servers. When the DAE to MP4 conversion has completed, you can download your MP4 file right away.
We aim to process all DAE to MP4 conversions as quickly as possible; this usually takes around 5 seconds; however, this can be longer for certain files, so please be patient.
We aim to provide the best conversion experience. Our tools are under constant review and development, with new features being added every week.
If your DAE file contains an animation, then our tool will create a MP4 file containing the full-length animation. If there is no animation present, our tool will use a simple rotation animation.

A DAE file, also known as a Collada file, was developed by the Khronos Group as an open standard format for representing 3D models and their associated data in a manner that is both extensible and compatible with other 3D modelling applications.
The extensibility of the DAE format comes from the fact that content is stored within an XML structure, allowing the 3D model geometry to be stored along with texture and material information, as well as animations. As it is an extensible format, new features can be added relatively easily without impacting compatibility.
As mentioned, the DAE format was designed to be an open format, standardized to allow any 3D modelling application to easily implement support for DAE files. Popular 3D modelling apps such as Blender offer support for the DAE format out of the box.
DAE Converter Capabilities
When converting 3D model or mesh files using our DAE converter, we will attempt to convert colour materials into a suitable format for use in the converted file.

An MP4 file is a modern standard format for storing high-quality motion video in a highly compact and efficient file size. The specific compression algorithm used within an MP4 file can vary from file to file; however, they all enable what would otherwise be a large amount of uncompressed data to be reduced to a fraction of the original size with little or no noticeable difference in playback quality.
Due to their widespread support, MP4 files can be loaded into most video editing applications and played with most video playback software with no additional drivers. Most video sharing sites, such as YouTube, support MP4 as a format when uploading, and most tablets and smart phones can record in the MP4 format.
Audio stored within an MP4 file is usually stored in the MP3 format, taking advantage of that format's high quality and compression capabilities.
If your DAE file contains a default animation, then our DAE converter will create a MP4 file containing the full animation. If your DAE file does not contain any animations, our tool will create a simple 360-degree rotating 3D animation.
