Use our free-to-use and fast WRL to MP4 file converter to expertly convert your WRL files perfectly into the MP4 file format, ready for further editing or use in your favourite MP4 file editing application. Our tool can also batch convert your WRL files, enabling you to convert up to 20 files in one go.
Or drag and drop your files here to upload.
A maximum of 20 files can be uploaded at once.
Use the button above to select the WRL files you wish to upload; once selected, you can click the Upload button to start the conversion. Once all your files have been converted, you will be able to download your MP4 files either individually or all together in a compressed ZIP file.
Here are two simple steps to convert your WRL to MP4 using our fast and free WRL converter tool.
First, click the "Upload..." button and select your WRL file to upload. Your WRL file will be uploaded to our servers. When the WRL to MP4 conversion has completed, you can download your MP4 file right away.
We aim to process all WRL to MP4 conversions as quickly as possible; this usually takes around 5 seconds; however, this can be longer for certain files, so please be patient.
We aim to provide the best conversion experience. Our tools are under constant review and development, with new features being added every week.
If your WRL file contains an animation, then our tool will create a MP4 file containing the full-length animation. If there is no animation present, our tool will use a simple rotation animation.

The WRL (or VRML) file format is used to store 3D models and their environments in a simple-to-edit, plain text format. The WRL format has been around since the 1990s and has gained widespread support as a convenient 3D graphics format.
The 3D data is stored within the file in a hierarchical format, allowing 3D objects to be grouped and manipulated together. The format also allows 3D objects to be assigned unique IDs, allowing them to be referenced elsewhere in the same document, allowing the same 3D model to be used multiple times while only defining its vertices, faces, and other 3D data once.
While the format still enjoys support within many 3D editing applications, the WRL format has been officially superseded by the XML-based X3D format, which comes with more features and, with its use of the standard XML format, more support amongst 3D modelling applications.
WRL Converter Capabilities
When converting 3D model or mesh files using our WRL converter, we will attempt to convert colour materials into a suitable format for use in the converted file.

An MP4 file is a modern standard format for storing high-quality motion video in a highly compact and efficient file size. The specific compression algorithm used within an MP4 file can vary from file to file; however, they all enable what would otherwise be a large amount of uncompressed data to be reduced to a fraction of the original size with little or no noticeable difference in playback quality.
Due to their widespread support, MP4 files can be loaded into most video editing applications and played with most video playback software with no additional drivers. Most video sharing sites, such as YouTube, support MP4 as a format when uploading, and most tablets and smart phones can record in the MP4 format.
Audio stored within an MP4 file is usually stored in the MP3 format, taking advantage of that format's high quality and compression capabilities.
The WRL 3D format does not support animations within our conversion tool, so our tool will create a simple 360-degree rotating 3D animation that will be rendered to a MP4 file ready for download.
