Here are 2 simple steps to convert your BLEND to X3D using our fast and free BLEND converter tool.
Extension | BLEND |
Full Name | Blender |
Type | 3D Model |
Mime Type | application/octet-stream |
Format | Binary |
The BLEND file type is the native 3D graphics file format of the 3D modelling application Blender. Originally released in 1994 Blender has grown over the years and is one of the most popular 3D applications available.
BLEND files store 3D content such as 3D geometry, vertices, faces, normals, animations, materials and much more. Blender is free and open-source and contains many features you would expect in a high-end 3D editing application and is available for most current operating systems.
BLEND Converter Capabilities
When converting 3D Model/Mesh files using our [ey] converter we will attempt to convert color materials into a suitable format for use in the converted file.
Extension | X3D |
Full Name | Extensible 3D Graphics |
Type | 3D Model |
Mime Type | model/x3d+xml |
Format | Text |
Opens With | Blender, MeshLab |
The X3D file format was introduced in 2002 as a successor to the 3D VRML (WRL) file format. X3D files contain 3D mesh and model information defined using vertices, faces, normals and material data making it broadly as capable as the older VRML format.
X3D files are structured Xml text based files allowing full 3D scenes containing models comprised of 3D mesh data and other simple shapes. There are browser extensions that allow X3D files to be directly embedded within Html to allow rendering directly to a web page however the format has not seen widespread adoption.
X3D Converter Capabilities
When converting your BLEND to X3D our tool will attempt to accurately convert any color/material information.
Your BLEND file will be converted to a X3D file using our unified 3D model and mesh conversion tool. Our BLEND 3D tool performs accurate conversions of 3D elements such as vertices, faces, normals and relevant material information. As both BLEND and X3D support color material information our tool will also attempt to convert the color information too.
First click the "Upload..." button, select your BLEND file to upload. Your BLEND file will be uploaded to our servers. When the BLEND to X3D conversion has completed, you can download your X3D file straight away.
We aim to process all BLEND to X3D conversions as quickly as possible, this usually takes around 5 seconds however this can be longer for certain files, so please be patient.
We aim to provide the best conversion experience. Our tools are under constant review and development with new features being added every week.
