If you have not used our conversion tools before or need some guidance on supported files and file upload issues, then some of the tips below may help.
In all our conversion tools, you will see the "Upload a file" button. Once selected, you will be able to browse your local device storage and select the file you wish to convert. Depending on the conversion tool you are using, you should select a file with the correct type the tool will expect. Selecting an incorrect file type may result in an error.
Depending on the size of the file and the type of file you are converting, there will be some processing time required by our servers to perform the file conversion. If your file is large, it may take some time to upload, and this depends largely on your internet upload speed. Once your file has been received, it will be processed as soon as possible.
You will need to ensure you have the required software installed to open the converted file. For certain file types, such as 3D model or mesh files and images, our tool will display a real-time preview of the file prior to downloading. For more common types of files, such as images, videos, and audio files, your device should be able to open these file types without any additional software.
Once your file has been converted, it will be available to download for 1 hour. After this time, it will be deleted from our servers, and you will need to convert the file again.
While we strive to ensure our tools can convert all uploaded files, there will be times when certain files cannot be converted, usually due to slight variations in the format versioning of the uploaded file. When converting video or CAD files, please allow time for the file to be processed.
