You can use our ASE to BLEND conversion tool to quickly and easily convert your 3D model files for free. You may upload up to 20 files at one time, and our batch ASE to BLEND converter will process each 3D model and present you with a download link for each file once completed.
Or drag and drop your files here to upload.
A maximum of 20 files can be uploaded at once.
Our 3D model ASE to BLEND tool will load your ASE file and, where supported, attempt to extract all the relevant 3D features, such as geometry, textures, and animations. To access the 3D conversion configuration options, click the button when you have selected your files. The current options support the ability to voxelize your 3D model and more.
Here are two simple steps to convert your ASE to BLEND using our fast and free ASE converter tool.
First, click the "Upload..." button and select your ASE file to upload. Your ASE file will be uploaded to our servers. When the ASE to BLEND conversion has completed, you can download your BLEND file right away.
We aim to process all ASE to BLEND conversions as quickly as possible; this usually takes around 5 seconds; however, this can be longer for certain files, so please be patient.
We aim to provide the best conversion experience. Our tools are under constant review and development, with new features being added every week.
In order to successfully convert an ASE formatted file to the BLEND format, our converter tools will perform several initial checks to ensure the file provided is indeed an ASE file. There are many files out there where the file type extension does not match the data contained within the file. Along with these file type checks, our tools will do additional checks to ensure the file is correctly formatted to match the provided file type. There are many tools out there that do not always create ASE files to the exact specification.
The ASE file format is a text-based format, meaning its contents are human-readable, making ASE files easy to edit in simple text editors. Within this text-based format are the core elements that make up the 3D model, including vertices, faces, and more. To ensure efficient conversions, our tool will check all data that is contained within the ASE file and remove any information that is duplicated. This not only ensures the conversion completes more quickly, but also the generated BLEND file size is smaller.
Now that the data from the ASE file has been processed, our tool can apply any conversion specified options, such as enabling Voxel mode, and with these applied, prepare the data to be converted to the final BLEND file format. Part of this process ensures checking the capabilities of the BLEND format and removing any data that cannot be represented.
At this point, the ASE to Blender conversion tool will have the 3D model in a state that is ready to be transferred to the Blender BLEND format. Our tool creates the BLEND file, ensuring all the model data is present and is formatted to match the BLEND file specification to ensure the file can be opened in Blender and other editors that are capable of editing BLEND files.

The ASE format is a text-based 3D modelling format used by 3ds Max software as a means of exporting complex 3D scenes and all their components, such as mesh, textures, lighting, and more.
ASE files can become fairly large due to the data being stored as ASCII text; however, being human-readable files makes them easy to apply post-export edits.
3ds Max can export ASE files, other 3D modelling software such as Blender can read and display ASE files.
ASE Converter Capabilities
Our ASE 3D Model/Mesh tool does not support any colour material data contained within ASE files, so the converted file will not contain any colour information.

The BLEND file extension is the native 3D modelling file format of the ever-popular Blender 3D modelling software. The Blender format originally came into existence in late 1994 and has since evolved into the advanced 3D format we have today.
The format stores complex 3D mesh data along with textures, animations, lighting, and other information related to 3D scene rendering. The format is popular among those creating 3D videogame graphics and animation sequences due to its advanced features and ease of use.
Along with Blender, BLEND files can also be imported into other popular 3D editing software. The open-source nature of the format allows third-party plugins and scripts to be created to run within the Blender editing environment and extend the format's capabilities.
BLEND Converter Capabilities
Our 3D conversion tool does not support colour or material information in BLEND files, so your file will not contain any colour information.
Your ASE file will be converted to a BLEND file using our unified 3D model and mesh conversion tool. Our ASE 3D tool performs accurate conversions of 3D elements such as vertices, faces, normals, and relevant material information. Our tool will not attempt to transfer any colour information if it is present in your ASE file; your final 3D model will contain only geometry data.
