Free Online GCODE to PCD Converter

You can use our GCODE to PCD conversion tool to quickly and easily convert your 3D model files for free. You may upload up to 20 files at one time, and our batch GCODE to PCD converter will process each 3D model and present you with a download link for each file once completed.

Or drag and drop your files here to upload.
A maximum of 20 files can be uploaded at once.

Please note: Your GCODE file, once uploaded to our server, will be deleted 15 minutes after upload, so please download your converted GCODE file before this time.

Our 3D model GCODE to PCD tool will load your GCODE file and, where supported, attempt to extract all the relevant 3D features, such as geometry, textures, and animations. To access the 3D conversion configuration options, click the button when you have selected your files. The current options support the ability to voxelize your 3D model and more.

The GCODE file is a 3D file format used by 3D printing software as a way to store the instructions needed by a 3D printer to construct a 3D object. The format has been around for many years and is also used by CNC machines for building 3D objects.

A GCODE file is typically created by 3D printing slicer software. The slicer software will take a standard 3D model format, such as STL, and slice it up into layers, movements, and other instructions that the 3D printer can then use to build a 3D object.

GCODE Converter Capabilities

Our GCODE 3D Model/Mesh tool does not support any colour material data contained within GCODE files, so the converted file will not contain any colour information.

The PCD file format, short for Point Cloud Data, is a 3D graphics format designed specifically for storing 3D point clouds. A point cloud is simply a collection of points in 3D space, along with optional colour information.

Points are stored within the PCD file in the form of their X, Y, and Z coordinates. If the point is to be rendered in a particular colour, this is also included with the coordinate. PCD files can be either plain ASCII text or binary in format, with the binary format being more compact.

PCD files can be opened with several 3D editing packages and also converted to other point cloud formats, such as PTX, using our suite of PCD conversion tools that are designed specifically for point cloud data conversion.

PCD Converter Capabilities

Our 3D conversion tool does not support colour or material information in PCD files, so your file will not contain any colour information.

Information for converting from GCODE to PCD

Your GCODE file will be converted to a PCD file using our unified 3D model and mesh conversion tool. Our GCODE 3D tool performs accurate conversions of 3D elements such as vertices, faces, normals, and relevant material information. Our tool will not attempt to transfer any colour information if it is present in your GCODE file; your final 3D model will contain only geometry data.
